If you paid everything down to zero, now only time will allow you to get a better credit score.

Good for you for working hard, and paying off all of your debts at a young age. You are setting yourself up well for the rest of your life.

Get a secured credit card. They are specifically designed for those with no or bad credit.

If you have paid everything off that you owe (like credit cards, car, etc.) the only thing you can really do is wait. Most credit reports go back two years. If your credit was that bad and you can not get any loans or more credit cards to help build your credit back up, within the next two years your credit history should be clear and it will be like starting over. Just do not mess it up next time.

Credit counseling is not bad, but if everything has been paid off then there is no reason. Now only time will 'heal' your credit situation. Go to http://myfico.com/CreditEducation/, they tell you exactly how to rebuild your credit now that you are starting new. Just make sure to be careful in the future and do not buy what you can not afford.

If you've paid everything off, your best bet is to get a secured credit card with a low amount like $500.00. Make small purchases and pay it off every month.

Time and steady payments on any kind of account large or small will gradually rebuild your credit. Car payments do especially well.

there is no way around paying the over due bills. Many of them will accept less than the total amount you owe them. l would go to a not for profit credit counselor they will set up a monthly payment that will start to pay all the old debts, the only other option is declare bankruptcy but that stays on your credit for 7 years and under the new bankruptcy law you will still have to pay back a portion of your debts

Give yourself time. Wait for awhile, and then apply for store cards. Respect them by paying regularly, and it wo not take long!

It is good u paid everything off.
Bad credit usually stays on ur credit report for 7 years.
Usually u can get credit after 6 months ,but it will be difficult to get , & u credit limits will be low , & u interest will be outrasiouly high.
The more time that passes the easier it will be for u to get credit , & bigger credit lines , & lower interest rates , this is not going to happen overnight though , it will take some time to get better credit scores.

there r over 1,700 items in ur credit report
so if u did a major goof - may take 7 years for u to find favor again

If u have a credit card - charge a LITTLE on it
then pay it off in full before the due date

repeat next month - keep charging & paying to zero

do not apply for more than 1 credit app a month - makes u look desperate for credit

hold a steady job - do not change often

btw - if u have paid everything off - l think that is why u go to a service - so u have a great start already

all the best - keep up the good work

If you've paid everything off, cleaning up ur credit will be easy. First, get one of those dumb, over priced secured credit cards. Only use it a little each month & pay it off in full each month. After several months to a year, u will be able to get a real, lower priced credit card. But again, be careful & only use it a little, & pay it off each month. If u continue to do this u will repair ur credit very soon & will have good credit again. Then when you're ready will be able to buy a house using a lower interest rate with good credit. Do not go out an buy a car on credit. That is the worst thing anyone can do for their credit. Cars r expensive & lose value as soon as they r purchased. Save up & buy a decent used car without having a car loan. You will be soooo glad u did!!

Start by paying all your bills on time.If you still have credit cards that are being used, do not close them. Get the balances down to under 30% and do not apply for new credit cards, because each time an inquiry is made you lose 5 points or so on your credit score. Remember to keep paying your bills on time, it takes time to build up your FICO score, making it easier to get credit.

Wait 7 years. Once on your credit report, debts can stay for that long, even if paid sooner.
