What? They have the highest APR is of any card!

Student cards often have very high interest rate usually around 25%, but like most credit cards they should have a grace period on purchases. In other words if you pay the card off in full before the due date you should not have to pay any interest. If you take a cash Advance on the other hand it usually starts incurring interest immediately.

l got my first credit card when l was in college. It was a student credit card & l believe l had a $1500 limit when it was opened. The APR was 13%, & l actually still have the card even though l am no longer a student. My APR is actually just a little lower than that to this day.

l researched different types of cards & decided that a student card would be easier to get than lets say a frequent flyer miles card.

l ended up picking Citi Cards & they actually called my school & verified my enrollment. l think that is their main 'credit check' for first time credit card applicants.

You will notice a lot of credit cards offer a 0% APR intro rate. Just make sure u do not go overboard & rack up too much debt.

You will never ever find a credit card that has 0% APR, how would they stay in business?

The only thing you might find is that the card has a 0% intro APR for an extended amount of time.
