sold an LV bag a YEAR ago, 2007! l got an email from the buyer stating that they LOVE the bag when they got it, and are SO excited! This bag was a gift from my husband who bought it in Asia, for vaca 6 months prior to my selling it, and l was told at the LV store that it was AUTHENTIC here in Hawaii where l live. Although, they will not give any kind of peperwork to authenticate it... Nor, un-authenticate anything....

So, My customer tells me he loves this bag, then 3 months later says he wants his money back since his wife took it to a store there where they live and were told it is a replica. l advised him that this was past my return policy and he has had the bag for 3 months already and l cannot accept used merchandise.

That was the last l heard about it. Than, l get a letter from Paypal, telling me that he has disputed this on his CC bill. It has been nearly a YEAR ago when he paid! None the less. Paypal is telling me that he sent documentation that he sent the item back and has a tracking number and delivery confirmation. But, l dont have the item. IT was sent to a city not where l live. And signed as received by someone else. Not me. l have advised PAYPAL of this. And they are holding my account in a negative $500 now, since they had to refund this other person.

What can l do at this point? l feel like this buyer has buyers remorse. And is lying about shipping it. He could have sent to a local McDonalds for all l know... But, since it is in Hawaii, its ok? Cant he have gotten MY address from Paypal? Also, what do l do, when l told Paypal this was a year ago and only now he is complaining? Thats rediculous? And l had this item on a bidding with Ebay, but actually ended the auction so he could purchase it early at a Buy it Now price. What can l do at this point?

You need to let Paypal know that a year is way too long before a buyer can complain about an item. Who is to say the buyer did not buy a replica & then is sending that back to you?
Your right it is ridiculous, u need to email Ebay that u believed what u wrote in the ad & after a year a buyer should not have the right to come back at u & complain since they most likely r lying. Who is this person who said it was a replica in the first place?
if the item is not recieved then that person is just trying to cheat u & that is just totally wrong.

You are lucky that there was no money in your Paypal account. There have been stories where due to a credit card chargeback they froze accounts with plenty of money in it.
They eventually keep the money too. Search the net for lots of similar stories.
As per your Q. no idea. Give up on Paypal and use someone else instead, they are all crooks anyway.
