l have a target credit card that l wanna pay-off fast, unfortunately due to high interest rate, it will take years to pay it off. is there anythinglcan do to speed up the process, other than giving more monthly payments. such as settling with the company? will this hurt my credit score?

why would they settle with you? you bought the goods, now pay for them. - get a second job and use that money to pay off the bills faster

Getting a second job & paying it off is the responsible thing to do. However, the real way that it works is if u become six months delinquent (behind) on ur payments, the credit company will take a settlement on the amount that u owe. So let is say u owe 500 & in six months of not paying u now owe 550 with the interest added. They will most likely settle for half of what u owe . It will impact ur credit score making it harder to get approved for other credit cards ans loans for the future. Its a target card, how much can u possibly owe, pay it off. l would say just keep making the minimum payment untill u can afford to pay it all off. Oh yeah, stop buying things on it too. good luck

get another credit card that offers very low upto 0% APR and transfer your balance from target card to the new low APR card. You will save a bunch on interest which you can use to pay it off faster. l did some research and came across the following site that lists some very good 0% APR cards for upto 12 months. Good luck!

You do realize taking goods and services without paying the money back is stealing and is certainly indicative of a lack of good character. l would start throwing as much money as you can towards it every month-which very well mean getting a second job and getting rid of anything you do not need to survive- cable, internet, movie rentals, everything.
