If u submit them to the Bank before the due date, the Bank will reject them (& return them to you) as 'unpaid'. Depending on ur Bank & type of account, u will be charged (typically £35) for trying to cash an 'invalid' cheque.
PS No-one accepts personal cheques anymore & no private individual would accept a business cheque from some source that r not 100% sure of .. anyone with a PC & a printer can print fake cheques . there is even a well known scam that involves fake cheque cashing
